The Dehsabz-Barikab area has been selected by the Afghan government as the primary expansion zone for Kabul — not because of its current state of development, but because of its extraordinary potential. Positioned to the north-east of the existing city, the area offers the space, the road connectivity, and the government backing to become the defining address of modern Kabul.

Being located at the southern edge of the MUDH master plan gives Omarzay Gardens the dual advantage of proximity to Kabul city centre and access to all the planned infrastructure of Kabul New City — including major roads, commercial cores, parks, waterways, and institutional facilities.
